Uganda Union elected new Rwenzori Field officers, reaffirming its commitment to mission, evangelism, and faithful spiritual leadership.

The Uganda Union Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, during the 9th Rwenzori Field Session held on 17th November 2025, elected a new team of officers to lead the Rwenzori Field for the ensuing term.
Delegates from across the field gathered for the constituency session to review the work of the Church, celebrate God’s leading, and prayerfully elect leaders who will provide spiritual and administrative leadership for the next quinquennium.
The following officers were elected:
President: Pr. Paul Mumbere
Executive Secretary: Pr. Samuel Mumbere
Treasurer: Eld. Joshua Muhindo
The newly elected officers assume the responsibility of providing leadership to the Rwenzori Field, working alongside pastors, departmental directors, church elders, and members to advance the mission of proclaiming the everlasting gospel throughout the region.
The constituency session reaffirmed the Church’s commitment to evangelism, discipleship, youth empowerment, education, stewardship, and community service. Delegates expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness in guiding the work of the Church and committed the newly elected leadership team to His care through prayer.
As the new administration begins its term of service, members across the Rwenzori Field are encouraged to continue supporting the leadership through earnest prayer, active participation in mission, and faithful stewardship, so that together the Field may fulfill its God-given mandate of preparing people for the soon return of Jesus Christ.
