Pr. Paul Mumbere Re-elected President of Rwenzori Field at the 9th Uganda Union Session

Delegates attending the 9th Session of the Uganda Union Mission prayerfully reaffirmed their confidence in the leadership of Pr. Paul Mumbere by re-electing him to serve as President of the Rwenzori Field for another term.
The election, held during the constituency proceedings on 17th November 2025, marked an important milestone in the life of the Field as delegates from across the territory gathered to reflect on God’s leading, review the progress of the Church’s mission, and elect leaders who will guide the work for the next term.
Pr. Mumbere’s re-election reflects the confidence placed in his spiritual leadership, commitment to mission, and dedication to strengthening the Church across the Rwenzori Field. During his previous term, the Field witnessed continued efforts in evangelism, church growth, youth ministry, stewardship, and the strengthening of local congregations.
Following his re-election, Pr. Mumbere expressed gratitude to God for His guidance and thanked the delegates for the trust they had placed in him. He called upon pastors, church leaders, and members throughout the Field to remain united in purpose and committed to the mission of proclaiming the everlasting gospel to every community within the Rwenzori territory.
The constituency session emphasized the importance of collaborative ministry, spiritual revival, and faithful stewardship as the Church continues to prepare people for the soon return of Jesus Christ.
Pr. Mumbere will serve alongside the newly elected Field officers:
President: Pr. Paul Mumbere
Executive Secretary: Pr. Samuel Mumbere
Treasurer: Eld. Joshua Muhindo
Together, the leadership team is expected to provide spiritual and administrative direction while advancing the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church throughout the Rwenzori Field.
Members across the Field have been encouraged to uphold the newly elected officers in prayer and to continue partnering in evangelism, discipleship, and community service, trusting that God will continue to bless the work entrusted to them.
